US-based manufacturer of Dri-Prime automatic self-priming, dry-running pumps, Godwin, has announced that as of January, it will be known as Xylem Dewatering Solutions.

Xylem president Michel Bakhos said: "Godwin will remain the brand name for the Dri-Prime series of pumps. We are known in the industry for the highest standards of professionalism, support, and response. Our commitment is to build on this foundation, and keep growing the offering of Dri-Prime pumps and Flygt submersible pumps, as well as launching new products and services."

As a Xylem brand, Godwin will continue to maintain a large fleet of pumps for rental in applications spanning dewatering in construction, mining and quarrying, as well as drinking water supply and wastewater by-passes. The range is complemented by submersible Heidra and Flygt pumps.

Xylem is a global water technology provider, enabling customers to transport, treat, test and use water efficiently in public utility, residential and commercial building services, industrial and agricultural settings.
